Clay with Carole
- Clay with Carole is a pottery teaching studio in Hitchin Hertfordshire. It is a light and airy, fully equipped garden studio. You can learn how to throw on the wheel, hand build in clay, decorate and glaze your creations. They offer classes, weekly courses, parties, workshops, team building and more. Everyone is welcome. Tbe studio is run by Carole and Talia both experienced potters and teachers. They are passionate about their craft and sharing their knowledge with others. Carole makes her own work in ceramic, does mixed media painting and has done 3 public projects with a fourth project underway. Carole is happy to take commissions and has recently done a decorative snake mug and an artichoke dog ashes urn. Carole also loves to make ceramic sculpture. Talia enjoys making throwing on the wheel and hand building. She loves making mugs, vases and planters and other individual pieces.
LATEST NEWS
The studio has been expanded this year. We can now fit up to 26 people in the hand studio and have 6 wheels in the wheel studio. This means we can facilitate bigger parties and team building sessions than before. We love a hen party and enjoy hosting work teams. Our workshops and classes are very popular too.
