Recently I have been enjoying recreating old family snapshots in oils and acrylics-  the shared moments with family and friends in situations familiar to many of us.  I prefer to use acrylics and oils to create colourful, playful, new versions of these images. I love to use charcoal – particularly with life drawing and portraits. By contrast, I also enjoy the disciplined approach of painting figures on silk.
