I am a self-taught artist from Hemel Hempstead, focusing mainly on watercolour paintings. My artistic ability was first recognised at the age of four, when my nursery teacher, on the verge of retirement, remarked that she had never encountered such talent in a child during her career. From childhood onward, art has been my greatest passion and creative outlet.
Professionally, I trained as a nursery nurse and later qualified as a primary school teacher, where I continue to share my love of the arts with to help them children unearth their own unique potential and celebrate their differences. In my mid-twenties, I turned more seriously to painting as a way of managing the challenges of living with inflammatory bowel disease. Art quickly became not only a source of comfort, but also a powerful means of expression and joy.
Today, I take great pride in my work, often creating alongside my son and inspiring his own artistic journey. I remain dedicated to producing artwork that both enriches my own life and brings enjoyment to others.

I am exhibiting at the Henderson Hub in Abbots Langley for Herts Open Studios 2025.
