Alison started painting with her dad’s oil paints from a very early age. She loved the way they mixed and moved about the surface.

In her early 20s, Alison attended Harrow School of Art & Design concentrating on Fine Art. 

Since leaving her job as a teaching Assistant, she has focused fully on her art practice- has a studio in her house and still predominantly uses oils. She is a member of the Saint Albans Art Society and has also had a solo exhibition in Stanmore. 

Alison loves painting portraits, landscapes and still life – and presently is interested in painting from vintage photos and trying to bring them to life!
