Nicola Heather Art Academy provides you with:
Art Club sessions which will be recorded so you can view in your own time or catch up if you miss your in-person art club. In person Art Club held on 3 Saturdays per month, 10.00am-12.00pm in Letchworth, Hertfordshire.
A private FaceBook Group where you can find all the on-line tutorials (you will be supplied with the materials list, reference photo, line art and videos) and a safe private space where you can connect with fellow students and be part of a supportive community.
Q&A sessions.
I will guide you through how to produce your line art from a photo, how to print it out and mount onto your paper, how to position your artwork and think about end result framing. I will then show you coloured pencil techniques, layering, values, shading and colour theory. We will then practice cat, dog and horse eyes, fur lengths, dog nose and eventually work up to complete animals. We will work through a number of subjects of the groups choice. No prior experience required, all levels welcome. Suitable for beginners and for those who have always said “I can’t draw”, believe me you will be able to by joining my academy.
