Handmade Journal

Join me to create your own handmade journals as memory books or diaries .

In the morning we will create some of our own drawn / printed collage papers and learn simple ways to transfer a photo to a drawn image( no drawing skills needed! ) . After lunch we will build our journals.

We will use a mix of decorative paper, recycled and vintage items including old book pages, magazine clippings, fabric, postcards, and other ephemera with space for writing and journaling. Basic bookbinding skills will be used to create the body and cover of the journal and then you will learn different techniques and approaches to embellish and decorate.

Please feel free to bring along copies of photos you might like to include to make it a really unique and personal journal.
