Contemporary Basketry for all Abilities

This mixed-ability basketry course is contemporary in its’ approach and will use a variety of natural materials.
‘Harvesting Willow Bark and Plaited Point Pouches’ is the loose theme for this half term. We’ll learn how to harvest, store and prepare bark for weaving. We’ll learn how make the pointed pouch form using colourful recycled card, kamihimo paper band, and harvested bark, exploring embellishment potential along the way.
Suitable for all abilities. There will be a small charge for optional pre-prepared bark.
