I am intrigued by texture and potential. Working predominantly with textile and fibre, I interrogate material properties alongside colour and form. A burgeoning artist, my fascination with thread and its endless applications leads me to pursue various mediums. My practice is broad and eclectic, and I aim to inspire curiosity and wonder through the act of making.
Connie is launching The Maker & Mind Studio in Ware on 2 May 2026, a space dedicated to creativity: hosting caring craft workshops, a local makers gallery and shop.
She is currently working with Hertfordshire County Council on their fostering recruitment campaign, running workshops with both the public and the fostering community to build the HELP Community Quilt – intended as an heirloom celebration of foster care from the perspective of children and their carers.
