Deb Manning-Webb

I am a self-taught painter inspired by the the wildlife and landscapes I experience and aim to bring harmony, re-connection and peace through my art works that share joy-filled glimpses of our natural world. As well as images of the natural world and creatures we share it with, I am increasingly interested in the human footprint on the environment and what this holds for the future. I work on oils, acrylics and water colour, sometimes combining the mediums to achieve specific effects – experimenting is part of the ongoing journey of my work.

I am committed to supporting species in crisis and protecting the environment and any products featuring my work are carefully sourced with the environment and ethical production methods uppermost in mind. In addition to canvas and paper, I work on natural products such as slate and pebbles as the base for small original works and affordable commissions.

The concept of ‘abandoned art’ is to provide pleasure for those who find it and I enjoy leaving pebble art around my local area to bring a smile to anyone who happens upon it.
