In different 2D media, I aim to capture the impact of colour, light and pattern. Recently I have become absorbed in the possibilities of print making.These works portray my interest in landscape, cityscapes and still life. Through using different media such as print making, collage and painting, I am able to experiment with expressive interpretations of these subjects without being literally descriptive. I enjoy the way different methods stimulate the development of ideas as well as leading to both design and chance through the process of making. I am a local artist living in Ware.For many years I enjoyed teaching in Hertfordshire schools. Becoming a member of different art groups has enabled me to develop my interest in drawing, painting and printmaking.
