Landscapes in Pastel - Demonstration by Stephen Hand

Beechen Grove Church Hall, Clarendon Road, Watford
Stephen studied art and design at Medway College of Design and Canterbury College of Art. He then worked as a Freelance Designer and Illustrator in both Canterbury and Bristol. Stephen now works as a Teacher of Technology in Hertfordshire and has continued to paint and draw.
Most of the paintings are taken from original sketches of the French and English coastland and countryside and from his summer trips to various parts of Europe, Africa and America.
All his recent paintings are in Acrylic although Stephen also works in Watercolour and Pastel. He has exhibited in Hampstead, Crouch End, Enfield, Great Dunmow, Hertford and Hackney. He has contributed work to the annual Ayot St Lawrence art exhibition and has also had work exhibited in Humboldt Gallerie in Germany. Most recently he has had his own exhibition in Potters Bar Hertfordshire.
All visitors welcome for just £3 payable at the door. (WBAS members free)

The meeting takes place in the main hall on the 2nd floor, entrance at the rear of the church.
