Come along for a 2-hour session where you will draw your favourite animals, surrounded by your beloved motifs of choice. Immerse yourself in the therapeutic cutting work, using gold brass leaf paper, handmade by artisans in Japan.

Paper cutting art, using these exquisite materials from her home country, is one of Yoshie’s recent passions and she’s excited to share the joy of it with you!

This workshop will be run alongside the tutor's solo exhibition 'Hide & Seek in Dreamscape: an exhibition of art by Yoshie Allan,' which shares her playful imaginary world, cultivated since childhood and inspired by the shapes and creatures found in nature, including animals and motifs.

About the Tutor:
Yoshie Allan is a local visual artist, known for creating uniquely beautiful artworks inspired by the contrast/shapes found in natural light and shadow. She has been joyfully working with fabrics and creating gorgeous artworks for exhibitions and collaborative projects since the beginning of her career as an illustrator and designer in Tokyo in 2006.
