I hope to see you there! You can stay as long or as little as you like, just as you would in an in-person open studios
With exhibitions cancelled or postponed I am embracing (with some trepidation!) the virtual world and invite you to zoom into my studio for the HVAF Open Studios event. (Zoom link to be added in early September). To give you a taste of what I'll have on show, I've given you a bit of background on the collections below:

I would never have imagined that I would be so inspired by the photographs I took of tyre tracks in the snow. I'm really pleased with this body of textile work and am really looking forward to showing it all together for the first time as part of the HVAF Open Studios Event, or as much as my studio wall has space for!

Earlier this year I created some new prints for the Digswell Arts exhibition 'In our Garden', which was to be held to mark Welwyn Garden City's Centenary (2020). I started by taking rubbings from plants in my garden, digitally stitching them together to make a new image which formed the basis of the print plates. So these images really are made 'From my garden'.

The most recent series of work has been inspired by Lockdown. My work is usually created in response to visual inspiration, often landscapes but this body of work was different. It's been a challenge to work in different way but one I'm so very glad that I took on.

I hope that has whetted your appetite and that you will Zoom in to see me.
