26 Stephen McGuinness

Stephen McGuinness is a notable contemporary landscape painter based in the Cathedral city of St Albans, Hertfordshire. He graduated in Fine Art from Manchester Metropolitan University and later taught art at the prestigious Manchester Grammar School. He went on to spend a productive period living & working in Palma de Mallorca where he contributed to many group exhibitions, culminating in his solo show at the Museo del Casal de Cultura, Soller. Returning to the U.K., he was Head of Art at St Albans High School for Girls for nearly twenty years, prior to retiring from art education in 2019. In retirement he is focused on continuing his art journey & continues to use his in-depth knowledge of contemporary art practices to shape & transform what he sees into unique works of art.
