Hand-built ceramic sculptures of birds and animals suitable for interior and exterior spaces.
My process starts by sketching, detailed drawings from observations, and photographs, distilling the forms and angles of the subject to capture a glimpse of these creatures in motion. Drawing inspiration from animals and birds in particular I am drawn to lines, shapes, and the balance of the subject.

Using a multitude of processes to carve, and manipulating the clay before firing to a high temperature, suitable for outside conditions. Finished in matt underglaze , oxide and rust colours. Free standing or fixed to wooden posts.
I studied Fine Art at Hertfordshire University (2015) and have subsequently developed my practice with artists workshops and short courses.
With a keen interest in passing on my skills I have qualified as a tutor (2022) and teach both Art and Ceramics in schools, colleges, and interest groups.
