Step into a working upholstery studio in central St Albans and see mid-century furniture brought back to life. We specialise in restoring and reupholstering classic mid-century pieces using traditional techniques, high-quality sustainable materials, and a deep understanding of design.

During Open Studios, we’ll be working live in the space – pattern cutting, sewing, hand stitching, and finishing pieces, so visitors can experience the process behind each transformation. You’ll get an insight into the skill, time and creativity involved in upholstery, from fabric selection to the final product.

The studio is designed to reflect the character of the work: calm, creative, and mid-century inspired. Alongside the making, you’ll also be able to view a curated selection of restored mid 20th century pieces including, furniture art and ceramics which are for sale, and learn more about our approach to working with interior designers, collectors and design-focused clients.

Whether you’re passionate about furniture, curious about traditional craftsmanship, or looking for inspiration for your own space, this is a chance to see a creative workshop in action and speak directly with the makers.
