Sophie Christophy is a psychic automatic artist. She produces spiritually informed work in watercolour, pen, and home-made natural inks and charcoal. Her primary interest is the experience of working with these materials as an expression of the unseen. She photographs and documents her painted work when wet, to capture it in its most vital and living state.

Inspired and encouraged by nature, colour, energetic and spiritual experience, and the work of artists such as Hilma af Klint and Deborah Koff-Chapin, Sophie's work exists within a tradition of mystically guided art. Engaging with it is an opportunity for reflection, creativity, healing, liberation, and ultimately, peace.

Sophie enjoys painting in public - on the street and in nature - as well as in her studio. She offers 1:1 and group healing arts sessions and workshops, and holds a monthly online soul/spiritual readings group called Caldera.
