Building blocks — this could be something physical to do with bricks and mortar, architectural shapes, children’s toys, patchwork – indeed, any units of construction or composition; or, it could relate to the thought processes/steps required in the creation of a piece of art.  We left it up to the artists to make something out of this theme − see what they’ve done.
