A self-taught artist working from her Hertfordshire home studio. Born in a small village in North Herts, Toni has carried through her life a love of rural spaces and animals, both of which feature heavily in her art.
With an eclectic approach to art, frequently changing style, technique and medium, her work is often born from imagination and evolves in front of her as she works rather than being heavily planned in advanced. Toni is drawn to bold colours and much of her work has a slightly whimsical feel. Her semi-abstract watercolour landscapes and seascapes are often a talking point in her work as she rarely uses a brush to create them.
An active member of Herts Visual Arts, Toni believes art is an endless journey of expression and discovery and is constantly exploring and pushing her artistic boundaries.
Outside of her art one of her greatest loves is her dog who is often her studio companion. Toni’s love of animals led her to becoming a Blue Cross Pet Loss Support volunteer.
