Hi I am Nery, a fine artist based in Hertfordshire. This year I plucked up courage to take part in Herts Open Studios and hope people like my style and get lost in the details.
I started drawing from a young age, and have a diploma in art and design. I have also taken various art therapy, colour therapy, and psychology courses.
I love working with kids and teaching them art so I combined both and became a qualified nursery teacher. I love getting creative, making stuff, doing art and crafts with the kids. I have a passion for art.
I have so many ideas in my head now and try to make them better when I put them down onto paper or canvas, so aiming for perfection and this is my weakness, as its very time consuming.
I realised that I loved adding details such as repeated lines to my art with colours and then discovered mandala/zendela.

I specialise in:
Pet portraits with clothes,
Combining mandala/zendela with bright colours,
Neon colours on a black background,
Black silhouettes on a bright background,
Flowers with laces,
and various canvas gifts that link to each other.

My strength is that I never give up when I start.
Knowing that there will be a end product is very rewarding and it really motivates me to keep carrying on.
I try to make my art unique, something that I’ve never seen before. I try to add the wow factor and hopefully achieve this in my work.
