I look forward to welcoming you to my studio. It’s situated just next to beautiful Patmore Heath (a SSSI), Albury, which is one of the many things that I love to paint. My paintings are adventures, in which the paint and the line and shapes develop their own momentum. Each work starts with a strong connection to an aspect of what I am seeing, and, from compositional sketches, I work onto canvas or board holding on to that connection and trying to remain true to it throughout. I love to paint landscapes, still life, horses, dogs and flowers.
I am delighted to be sharing the space with my daughter, Rose Pitman.
