An art foundation course in Warwickshire was followed by an art BAhons in Cardiff where I specialised in ceramics and textiles. I then went on to study a post graduate certificate in art education. Painting took over my life a few years ago and haven't stopped since. When I am not painting I am running art clubs and workshops to primary aged children locally.
My works are small, colourful and semi- abstract, inspired by both real and imagined landscapes, floral scenes or still lives. I like to build up colours in layers, revealing what lies beneath and create a sense of pattern .
I work in a small studio at the end of my garden which I share with my printmaker husband.
