My prints can be seen at Southbank Printmakers in Gabriel’s Wharf, London.
I have also just opened a big cartel shop where my prints can be purchased. www.sarahbroughton.bigcartel.com
I am a printmaker and I love to explore different ways of mark making using various printmaking processes, such as collograph, stencils and drypoint.
I like to develop my printmaking every time I print. I experiment with new ways of mark making and work in a variety of media. Working in this way gives me a broader resource and variety of marks that I can use in my prints. This experimental approach can produce 'happy accidents' and the unexpected in my work. Line, simplicity of shape, texture, colour and small details are all evident in my prints. The subjects of my prints are landscapes and natural forms all of which usually have a personal connection in some way.
I have a BA Hons (1st) in two dimensional design, and have worked as an illustrator and as a visiting university lecturer. I have recently been accepted as a member of Southbank Printmakers who have a gallery in Gabriel’s Wharf, London.
