I have a mixed background both culturally and professionally. My paintings portray how I see the world around me; the unexpected beauty of the most simple things; the freedom to be part of it all. I love the Hertfordshire landscapes with such beautiful, vibrant colours and dynamic skies. I particularly enjoy watching different cloud formations as they dynamically flow by. More recently, I have started painting animals. It all began with Ruby, the family's dog and then expanded to include many more adventures such as the fox sleeping in the back garden, the long-tailed tit fluffing out its feathers to keep warm, seagulls perched on mass on a tiled roof in Guernsey and the magnificent polar bear swimming through a deep pool. I am always intrigued by light and movement and continue to paint in oils am much as possible. Each painting illustrates a special memory and thus has a personal meaning to me. I hope you enjoy them too.
