I initally trained as a Graphic Designer at Fairfield School of Art Croydon in London some 25 years ago, with a foundation year in photography, life drawing, painting and sculpture and found my real love "Sculpture". In the late 1990's I went back to a Sculpture class and realised my dream. My main love is the Human Form and Head adding texture and interest to my pieces.
In 2011 I was Awarded The Stevenage Festival of Art ,Roy Mugridge Award for my Sculpture "Apache"
In 2016 I was Awarded The Hertford Art Society
' Mayor of Hertford Award'
'Best 3D Exhibt'
For my Sculpture "The Queue of Life".
Featuring 7 day to day figures in different stages of Life's events ,waiting at a Bus Stop.
I am developing an interest in Ceramics and am very interested in making handbuilt ceramic vases mainly with an Ethnic and sculptural feel, exploring variation in colour and texture and the relationship between pattern and form.
