I am a painter, graphic artist and art teacher, working in a variety of mediums, finding beauty in the unusual and atmospheric.
I am inspired by contrast - light and dark, buildings and nature, colours - orange and blue being my favourite!
Dreams, fairytales, literature, film, graphic novels, and music all influence my work.
I graduated in Graphic Design at Swindon College of Art and Design in 1987 and moved to London to work as a freelance children's book designer and paper engineer (pop up books). In 2000 I picked up my brushes again and got serious about painting, I work from my garden studio in North London.
