My art and photographs reflect my interests and desires to replicate my impressions of the world that surrounds me and catches my imagination in some way or another. I am particularly drawn to elements of landscapes which change as the seasons, the weather and time of day make impressive images for me to translate onto paper, board or canvas, for these to be seen and enjoyed by others to give some kind of enjoyment through the viewers eyes. I am not restricted to landscapes and have the same affection in my work to develop other images from life and my surroundings when I view something impressive, startling, and worthy of recording through my work. I get immense pleasure from producing these pieces of art and photography, also from knowing that others view and appreciate them.
FlashG (Gordon Andrews) was born in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, but now resides in Luton, Bedfordshire, where he and his family have lived for over 30 years.
