I'm a sculptor. I work in stone, wood, metal and clay, and have editions cast in bronze & resin. I'm inspired by my materials and the world around me. The shapes, colours and imperfections of naturally occurring materials inform my sculptures. Stone, wood and clay are endlessly adaptable and I find great joy attempting to create a form, and then being directed by the material in a way I could never have imagined. In some ways it feels like I am unconsciously told what to make. Nature is a constant inspiration!
