“I paint poems.”
“Poems I am able to relate to ecology.”
“To make a painterly discussion about changing climates”
Painting has a role in addressing society’s reaction to changing climates. Painting invites a creative response, opening up new frames through which to see a changed world, exploring emotion and perception.
Follow me as I probe words and figurative oil painting for my response to changing climates. Considering words about the nexus of the human condition and Nature, being reflected in climate changes. Aiming to enhance society’s response to this nexus, thinking this an ethical thing to do.
My paintings displayed on walls allow society to demonstrate climate and social responsibility credentials in the home, office, artistic, public and private space.
Trends in architecture, interior design and other professions offer opportunities for my work to add value as a discussion point; valuing beauty, provoking reflection and contemplation.
Matters of interest to art collectors, environmentalists and others, as well as dancers and poets. Whose work can respond to mine and vice versa. Finding hope and personal ethics.
