We're delighted to welcome you to our first in-person event of 2021 - the long-awaited and hugely popular Big Art Fair 2021.
Our 4th Big Art Fair in July again showcases Hertfordshire’s creativity through our popular exhibition at Hitchin Town Hall. For 2021, it’s complemented by BAF Online; this online exhibition, Gallery tours, artist videos (meet the artists, studio tours, artists at work), plus an event flipbook and video.
In addition, the hashtag #BigArtFair, collated onto our live social media wall, brings our talented members to audiences in Hertfordshire and beyond.
We start with a Preview Night on Friday 16th July. Then on Saturday/Sunday 17th/18th July, we’ll be in-person at Hitchin Town Hall. With over 50 artists, artisan-makers and designers taking part it promises to be outstanding, brimming with an amazing array of work, from classical to contemporary, decorative to functional, figurative to abstract, wall-hung to 3D. There will be original artwork, prints and greetings cards at a range of prices to suit every pocket. Plus, a chance to meet artists and discuss their work.
With a focus on discovery, imagine a beautiful large hall, screens and tables, displaying gorgeous, individual, high-quality hand-crafted objects. Over 50 artisan-makers and artists are sharing a wide-ranging, exciting and enticing array of work: textiles, ceramics, jewellery, sculpture, glass, mixed media, paintings, printing, photography and more. We know you will enjoy the show.

Big Art Fair Live Weekend
Join us for 3 days at Hitchin Town Hall, Hitchin Town Hall, Brand Street, Hitchin SG5 1HX, just off the High Street and close to the Market Place to meet our artists and browse their work. We're also launching Herts open Studios 2021, with special features on Open Studios artists who are also at hte Big Art Fair.
Friday 19th March 7.30-9.00pm: Our Private View is where you can enjoy a relaxed sociable evening. Browse Big Art Fair tables and displays, talk to artists and other visitors, hear from our Sponsors and enjoy our Sponsors Choice Awards.
