Herts Open Studios 2024
7th - 29th September
Plans are afoot for another amazing event for this year. To start things off, please ensure you have your venue in place. The registration form will be made available soon, but it's essential you already have your venue when you apply. Do not worry about how to complete the form as there will be help text to guide you through, plus we have a guide for you to download at the bottom of this page.
Once registrations open you will have until the end of April to apply. Payment is taken on application via PayPal or credit/debit card.
Why take part?
Taking part in Open Studios is a great way to promote your art, engage with interest people and sell work. Of course, although Herts Visual Arts helps in so many ways, your event should be a great success if you prepare well, communicate to those who know you, take part in our Zoom help sessions and undertake your own marketing.

How much does it cost to take part?
As with recent years, we are keen for you to gain as much benefit as possible, which means for 2024 we will be keeping the price to take part the same as previous years - £75.
For this you receive an entry into our cherished printed Herts Open Studios brochure (last year we flooded the county with thousands), the chance to take part in a Zoom online help session, our Risk Assessment, plus our Hints & Tips brochure. We put a lot of effort into marketing this event for all of our community, especially in social media and press releases - if you have a great story from last year, please let us know and we will publish it*.
Please bear in mind that your fee does not cover administration, hosting the zoom sessions, writing posts and press releases, nor coordination. This is all done by volunteers - members of HVAF who give their time and expertise for free - whom we thank and appreciate as without their help we could not afford to put on this (or other) events.
*We reserve the right to publish, alter and amend copy but will always keep you informed.
