Registration is now closed

You need to be a Member first, and you will need to log in to your Account. 

There’s plenty of help in the sidebars (desktop) or at the end of this page (mobile phone). Check out the extra Christmas Showcase pages and explainer videos (where available) here and in the Members-only pages. When you register, you'll be sent a confirmation email too.

Registration opens Monday 1st November, and is in 3 main parts:

  • Step1: apply on line/complete fee payment from Monday 1st November (registration closes 8am Thursday 11th November)
  • Step 2: upload your exhibition content (up to three pieces) during the upload window (window closes 8am Friday 12th November)
  • Step 3: register to present at one of our Live Steam online events (details to follow).

Step 1: register to take part

Registration opens Monday 1st November, and closes 8am Thursday 11th November: apply on line/complete fee payment

  • The cost to participate for 2021 is only £20 (Registration closes 8am Thursday 11th November)

When you have successfully registered, we will send an email copy of your registration to you, please check your spam or junk email folder if you don't see it in your email inbox.

If you cannot find an email, it may just mean that a filter between us and you has, for some reason, decided it's spam and just binned it. There is no need to email us to ask for confirmation.

You can always check your own registration: go to your account home page and if the Christmas Showcase is listed (with a green flash), you have registered. If you are unsure, please also check your emails for PayPal confirmation and also the account you used for payment - if no payment has been taken, then Step 1 registration has not been completed.

If the Christmas Showcase does not show green in your Account home page, but you believe you registered, check your account Basket, as it may be that you have only partially completed the transaction.   

Please note that all work must be safe to show/hang, and suitable for audiences of all ages, including children.

Step 2: Upload Online Exhibition images

Registration opens Monday 1st November, and closes 8am Friday 12th November: Once you have completed Step 1 you will be able upload your exhibition content (up to three pieces) while the Step 2 window is open. 

Before adding your exhibition entries, please first check any available exhibition help:

  • watch any explainer videos here: Explainer Videos
  • read any exhibition and Gallery update guidelines here: Help and Resources
  • when you have prepared, go to your Account home page to upload your exhibition pieces
  • make sure your Gallery is up to date.

Step 3: Live Christmas Showcase Presentations

From 16th November, registration details and closing schedule TBC: register to present at one of our Livestream Christmas Showcase events.

  • Saturday 27th November from 4 pm
  • Sunday 5 December from 5.30 pm

Open to all member artists who update their Gallery in line with the Christmas Showcase guidelines.

Applying members can select one date to present their work in a scheduled live 5-minute slot. This will be broadcast to the Public Herts Visual Arts Facebook page.

10 artists can present on each of the Presentation dates keeping strictly to 5 minutes each.

Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
