I love being creative and am never more content than when doodling away in my sketchbook journal.

My photography reflects what I see on my walks: the beauty of the nature and countryside we are lucky to have around us in Hertfordshire – landscapes, birds, macro shots of flowers… from there my impressionist digital composite images have evolved. They are made from many images of the same subject layered and blended together, creating a painterly effect.

My doodling now escapes from my sketchbook into portraits of pets, people and properties. Sometimes these doodles quite complex and elaborate – weaving together multiple images to celebrate a special event or memory. These are my Big Day Doodles!

I also enjoy getting creative and exploring with textiles and foraged fibres. My aim is to develop a sustainable practice that incorporates the landscape, flora and fauna of my local area, with links to the community where I live.
