Herts Open Studios 2016

Herts Open Studios is finally here!  I hope all the participating artists have a successful event and I am, like many others, looking forward to visiting many of your studios. Please do pick up a brochure (or download one from our website), plan your visit and take time to enjoy the wonderful range of art on display during September – and spread the word!

We will be promoting the event on social media using the hashtag #hertsopenstudios so if you see something you like please let us know on Facebook or Twitter, and, of course, don’t forget to tell your friends.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the area co-ordinators for their hard work in organising art trails, banners, delivering brochures etc.  This event would not happen without you.

Over the last few months we have featured figurative work, ceramics and textiles, here is a sample of the wide range of skills on show this year, illustration, jewellery, calligraphy, encaustic wax paintings, perspex creations, willow work, glass and sculpture.  Something for everyone.
