COMING up this Autumn, contemporary art collective INSIDEout will be showing Elements at Artshed, an exhibition based on earth, air, fire and water.

Elements will be the fourth exhibition held this year by Hertfordshire group INSIDEout, which includes several HVAF members.

Exhibiting artists will include Lupe Cunha, the group’s founder and curator of the exhibition, D-bar, Lotte Farnham, Anne Houghton, Janine Larson, Richard Phillips, Jan Reichmann, Sue Sanders, Jon Williams and Jane Willis,

INSIDEout will feature in the November issue of Hertfordshire Life.

Sue and Terry Hartga's contemporary photography show continues at Royston Museum.

The HVAF members exhibition Paired Vision: Take Two will run at Royston Museum until 3 October, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 16.45pm.

NEWS IN BRIEF

HVAF artist Anna Marett has eight bird sketches included in newly published book Natural History Painting with the Eden Project by Rosie Martin and Meriel Thurstan, well known authors and botanical artists.

Printed by Batsford, the book is packed with useful techniques and exercises for capturing the natural world on paper, and advice on papers, colour mixing, pencils, drawing and sketching.

AN oil painting of Blackbird's Farm, Aldenham by Carol Rogers has been selected to be one of the front covers of Around Radlett magazine next year.
