HERTS Open Studios 2009 has arrived, and with it the opportunity for the public to see the sheer volume, quality and range of visual art across the county.
HVAF GOES back to the drawing board after the Arts Council turned down an application for funding through its Grants for the arts programme.

I NORMALLY paint withered petals, over-exposed machinery and manic or sleeping dogs but, in this first solo show at Courtyard, I return to one of the traditional subjects of the old masters - the self portrait.
