A new contemporary fine art gallery Arthaus Galleries was opened on the 14th October 2012 by the Mayoress of Hertford Jane Sartin. Already in the short space of time from opening, Arthaus Galleries is establishing itself as a destination location for contemporary fine art in Hertfordshire.  Located in St. Andrew Street, Hertford opposite St Andrew Church, the gallery currently graces 1500sq ft over two storeys with plans to expand another 800sq ft onto the top floor towards the end of the year.

Their ethos is to exhibit high quality original contemporary artwork at affordable prices, including paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics and glass.

Drawing in work from an ever expanding stable of established and emerging artists from both the local area and further afield they have artists that work in every style from the traditional through to the freshest thinking.

They will be running exciting solo and group shows and events throughout the year, to keep updated you can follow them on Facebook and Twitter.
