'STRANDED', 2 Feb - 5 July 2015
The saying goes that one person’s trash is another’s treasure and that is certainly the case for Hertfordshire born artist, Jo Atherton. With a new exhibition opening on February 2 at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall in Falmouth, Stranded features her colourful tapestries, created from fishing line, netting, rope and other unexpected items left washed up on our beaches by the great ocean currents.

George Eksts: 'DEVELOPMENT HEAVEN', 20 Mar - 9 May 2015
Art & Design Gallery, College Lane, Hatfield, AL10 9AB. Admission Free. The University of Hertfordshire Galleries are delighted to present a solo exhibition by British artist George Eksts. Eksts uses video, sound photography, drawing and sculpture to explore ideas of progress, completion, time and the temporary.
Development Heaven pivots on a large-scale wall drawing created by the artist in black tape, which will be gradually de-constructed over the seven weeks of the exhibition to leave a potent expanse of white wall.
