If you know what you will be submitting and would like an image of your work to be considered for NMG publicity and posters, please send that image to Hillary _before_ 4th April 2017. All arrangements for this exhibition will be on-line, via Herts Visual Arts emails and an online booking system.

Please look at the exhibition space [https://thenewmaynardgallery.wordpress.com/exhibit/] and guidelines and consider where you work might fit. Final space allocations will depend on how many artists book and the mix of 2-D and 3-D work. Please also note that work can _only_ be accepted/exhibited if it follows the detailed in the New Maynard Gallery guidance and the Gallery trustees and volunteers may reject work that does not follow their guidelines. Please read their guidelines carefully.

If you would like to take part, but have a difficulty with the handing in/collection dates, please remember that it will be your responsibility to arrange a friend to take/collect your work for you.

Walls: All work must be suitable for wall hanging and fitted with mirror plates in line with New Maynard Gallery requirements: [https://thenewmaynardgallery.wordpress.com/exhibit/]. 2D work will be hung by the excellent gallery volunteers. Please consider work that will fit in a space no larger than 1m wide by 1m tall.

3-D: (including jewellery) must fit in one of their cabinets (details are on the NMG information page https://thenewmaynardgallery.wordpress.com/exhibit/). Jewellers must arrange their own work in their allotted space. Typical space per artist may be smaller than a 42cm by 46cm shelf, with 22 cm between shelves. Taller work can be accommodated in the larger cabinet, and artists may need to share a cabinet shelf with other artists.

Please book your space at this exhibition here: [insert web link].

When you book, you will be added to a mailing list that will provide further information and detail. This information page will also be updated with any changes.

When we have a final number of exhibitors, you will be asked to list you work using the same online booking system. There will also be instructions on how to label you work for handing in.

There will be online marketing materials available so that you can also promote the exhibition and your work.

Thank-you! It will be fab!

Herts Affordable Art Fair, Hitchin

The Herts Affordable Art Fair is well on its way and was quickly over-subscribed. If you have already expressed an interest in this Fair then please watch out for emails and other information. Lots of good things are being put together and full booking/payment will be able to start as soon as the panel and table layout is confirmed. Held during the Hitchin Festival, lots of effort is going in to make sure this is an amazing event with high visibility.

The exhibition is free and there is no commission on sales, however, any sales that are made via a credit card will be subject to the small fee (percentage) levied by the handling company.

March 2017: Members please confirm participation and pay – details to be confirmed.

March-July 2017: Watch out for updates, further information, and a detailed booking form

28th July 2017: Set up day, artists to deliver hang or otherwise set out their work

Watch this page for set-up details and arrangements

28th July 2017: Private View at the Sun Hotel, details to be confirmed

29th-30th July 2017: Exhibition open

30th July 2017: Exhibition closes, take down and collection arrangements to be confirmed

Notes:

All arrangements for this exhibition will be on-line, via Herts Visual Arts emails and an online booking system. Please read all information and complete all forms carefully. Final details will depend on the mix of 2-D and 3-D work (panel-hung or tables). Please also note that work can _only_ be hung on the wall panels if it has secure hooks/hanging string. Organising volunteers may reject work on the day that is not deemed safe to hang.

Set up day arrangements will be clarified in detail as the event draws closer, but in any event, you will need to hang/set out your own work on the Friday so that the event is ready for the evening private view and launch.

If you are offered a confirmed place but have a difficulty with the handing in/collection, please remember that it will be your responsibility to arrange a friend to take/collect your work for you. The organising volunteers are unable to hold any work before or after the event.

Panels: Final panel dimensions are being clarified at the moment. Please remember that you work, with spaces between different pieces must fit inside your allotted space. All work must be secure and suitable for wall hanging with no overhang, allowing artists work to hang side by side.

3-D: Work must fit on the table size that you are allocated, again with a clearance and without overspill to the sides or front. Any work on a table must be safe to leave without risk of falling.

Thank-you to everyone who has expressed their interest in this exhibition. Information on how to confirm/pay for your booking will start as soon as floor layouts are finalised.

When you book, you will be added to a mailing list that will provide further information and detail. This information page will also be updated with any changes.

When we have a final number of exhibitors, you will be asked to list your work using the same online booking system. There will also be instructions on how to label your work for the exhibition.

There will be online marketing materials available so that you can also promote the exhibition and your work.

Thank-you! It will be amazing!
