•   12 inches square exhibition – deadline for applications 1 April.  Queries so far have been from Glass artists – just to confirm that you may use stand-offs rather than the mirror plate fixings. If there are any other queries relating to this project please do not hesitate to contact me.

In this issue some must see exhibitions,  a variety of opportunities to persue together with features and interviews by two new members to the editiorial team Clare Kendal Bate and Michelle Tureav.

Welcome to the following new members who joined Herts Visual Arts in February ...

Cate Barnett (Barnet), Michael Brace (Baldock), Denise Butler (Leavesden), Niki Clark (Harpenden), Gail Gearing (Baldock), Elspeth Jackman (St. Albans), Permindar Kaur (St. Albans), Madelaine Lee (Welwyn), Sylvia Mann (St. Albans) Christine Spence (Buntingford), Stella Swanton (Letchworth) & Amanda Tanner (St. Albans)

Thank you to all who attended the last members evening, endorsing what John Spielman has reported, the talk on Picasso by Margaret Davis was highly informative and very well received.  We do need a critical mass of people attending lectures to attract the high quality of speakers we approach and your support is essential.  If you would like to suggest any speakers for the autumn programme please do contact us.

In the meantime we are looking forward to the return of Ken Howard at the 28th April meeting.
