At the recent Organising Group (OG) meeting we reviewed the financial outcome from 2012. Although the information at this stage is preliminary, it looks as though 2012 will have repaired some of the damage to HVA's financial reserves of 2011.

Meetings taking place this month ...
On a snowy morning in January I dropped in to talk to artist Kathy Evershed. I was attracted to her impressionist work during our Open Studios. Events had conspired against paying her a visit back in September, so I was very happy when Kathy agreed to my interview.
During 2013, I’ll be providing a monthly round up of websites which will be of particular interest to your artistic endeavours. They may relate to online trends in social media, or may simply be great hubs of advice which I’m sure you will find useful.
We are now one month into 2013 and thinking about our art maybe as a hobby, maybe as a business, for the year ahead. The big question that might be the key to success is: ‘What can I give up doing so I can pay more attention to my art and do it better?’
