Big Art Fair 2018 - Call for Artists

We have had a great response to our ‘Call for Artists’ for the Big Art Fair taking place in a lovely venue, the recently refurbished Hitchin Town Hall, 13-15th July.

Spaces for 3D artists are taken but we can still accommodate a few more 2D artists because the venue for this year is bigger than it was for last year.

If you have already submitted your application form, thank you and welcome, but please ignore this email.

If however, you would like to take advantage of this great opportunity to exhibit and sell your work, please apply by filling in the application form attached. There is a fee for taking part, but no commission is payable on sales and the event is manned by the organising team who will oversee sales and take payments on your behalf.

The event takes place over the weekend of 14th  and 15th July with a private view on the evening of 13th July.

The remaining spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Key Dates:

  • Friday 13th July: Artists hang/set out work in afternoon, PV in evening
  • Saturday/Sunday 14th/15th July Big Art Fair open to the public
  • Sunday 15th July 4pm: Fair closes, artists take unsold work
