I love colour and the imagination of what an object can become. I’ll start off with an idea or image, play around with it and then let it take its own journey. I like to immerse myself in the colour and shape of the object I'm painting, trying to discover an alternative of what it could become.
My inspirations are Paul Cezanne, Constantin Brancusi and Jackson Pollock.
My work is mainly abstract, contemporary and Impressionist art working in acrylic paint on board, wood and paper. I also sculpt soft stone and clay and create collages from nature and objects around the house. I also enjoy life drawing in clay and on paper.
