open studios in the community
The Open Studios team aims to increase audience awareness of Open Studios and to reach members of the public who might not otherwise experience the world of visual arts. The Open Studios in the Community initiative, with financial support from the National Lottery through Arts Council England, is a programme of activities which aims to bring Open Studios' artists and the public closer together and to reach new audiences by:
-
finding community based venues for projects and demonstrations
-
developing innovative partnerships with businesses and other enterprises
-
introducing a series of events throughout the year to enhance public awareness of the annual Open Studios event
