WE enter 2010 with exhibitions by two of our high profile artists; Graham Boyd at Bushey Museum and John Farnham in a mixed show at the new Walter Strachan Art Centre in Bishop's Stortford.
Graham Boyd returns to Bushey
IN delapidated studios which once housed the former pupils of Hubert Von Herkomer, Graham Boyd set out on a creative journey which would bring him back to where he started half a decade later.
Exhibitions
THREE HVAF artists are exhibiting at a mixed show at the new Walter Strachan Art Centre in Bishop's Stortford until March 26.
Sculptor John Farnham, well known for working with Henry Moore for many years as his assistant, and painters and printmakers Lotte Farnham and Liz Boast are three of five artists profiled in New Year Exhibition .

Opportunities
A MIX of exhibition and funding opportunities this issue. First is the opportunity to show work at the 14th century restored Kingsbury Barn in St Michael's Village, St Albans in June.
The Art, Sculpture & Craft Exhibition will form part of the St Albans Festival where HVAF members will be able to sell paintings, ceramics, calligraphy, glass, jewellery, pottery, sculpture and textiles. There will also be demonstrations throughout the week.
Diary Dates
The 2010 quarterly meetings programme for members starts on February 25 with 'Drawing - Its place in my work' by well-known HVAF member Susan Llewelyn Elvidge.
