gill flack - oil painter

Gill Flack has painted all her life and exhibits frequently in London and the provinces. She has had four one-man shows. She has travelled to India, America and Europe painting and drawing and has sold many works abroad.

Gill always paints or draws on site in the countryside and her primary interest when working is to convey a sense of space and atmosphere. She is inspired by the effects of light and the shapes and spaces that this creates on the canvas.

Gill has taught painting in Hospitals and at evening classes, and won the "palette" at her local Art Society in 1996 and 1998.
