Kim’s current work has a strong relationship with pop art. It is fun, bright and colourful. Her use of wallpaper and collage brings texture and depth to her work, adding much to its overall aesthetic. This helps to create a tactile narrative, playing with concepts of low and high art, exploring and investigating how art has historically been watered down for the mass consumer market.
