My work as a practising Willow Artist takes many forms - combining art, craft and design.
I work to commission throughout the year. Projects range from designing bespoke solutions for problem areas in the garden to the creation of independent sculptural pieces and focal points.
See my Artist's Facebook Page for more images and information: www.facebook.com/hazelgodfreyart
At the start of the year, I plant living willow structures in a variety of situations from natural play spaces to conservation areas and private gardens.
I design and weave garden related structures, baskets with a difference, willow sculpture and bespoke border/plant supports for rescuing areas of garden made weary by wind and rain.
I also make sculptural work for exhibition and attend various events throughout the year demonstrating skills, promoting the art of weaving, basketry and associated causes.
I grow my own willow locally in North Herts.
Beginners workshops teaching sculptural techniques, plant supports, garden related items, and seasonal decorative work are available periodically at local venues. Contact me for details.
