All my life I have been passionate about art and particularly sculpture.
So I studied at school and college for formal qualifications and then began an exciting journey of learning, producing art for the outside world.
Based in Scotland and then France and now finally back to my roots in the South East of England, gathering inspiration along the way.
Clay has been my choice material to work with for many years. It is raw and tangible, with unlimited possibilities, it’s organic, I feel my pieces grow.
Henry Moore, Antony Gormley, Amedeo Modigliani are just three artists who are truly inspirational to me and maybe a little of all of them shines through my own work.
To produce pieces that I enjoy is my starting block, but for others to enjoy and understand them too, is my goal.
