Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) is working on an exciting collaborative project to place locally produced art on view in the Trust's buildings. The project sources, buys and frames art by people who have a lived experience of mental health and specialist learning disability services.

The project is being advertised across the Trust services and partner organisations openly inviting artists to submit paintings, drawings, mixed media, poetry, photography and prints  that respond to HPFT’s themes of Hope, Choice, Empowerment and Resilience.

'Look Up To Yourself And Love', by Evangeline Rowe

Art work is selected by an art panel, that includes representatives from service users, staff, young people, carers, artists, art therapists and the University of Hertfordshire. The acquired art is displayed mainly in public areas across the Trust and to maximise impact will be rotated around buildings every six months.
